Do you live in High Wycombe or Oxford and suffer from depression or anxiety?
Come and meet other people in a similar situation to yourself and share experiences and coping strategies.
The Oxford and High Wycombe groups are two of the many Depression Alliance Self Help Groups across the country.
1 in 5 people will suffer from depression at some point in their lives and it can lead to feelings of desperation, low self worth, a lack of motivation, panic attacks and insomnia. Being part of a self help group can help remove the stigma around the condition and ease the sense of isolation that many people feel. The groups are run by volunteers who themselves have current or past experience of depression.
